Leadership & Unity In Islam

Assalamualaikum to my brothers and sisters, there's 2 point which i want to bring upon on for todays post.

1. We Need an Amir (Leader) to guide this ummah.

2. We must not be divided amongst ourselves.

This is because Allah S.W.T has mention in the Quran:

And hold fast, All of You together, to the Rope of Allâh (i.e. This Qur'ân), and be not divided among yourselves, and Remember Allâh's Favour on you, for You were enemies one to another but He joined Your hearts together, so that, by his Grace, You became brethren (in Islâmic Faith), and You were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved You from it. Thus Allâh makes his Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that You may be guided. (Ali Imran 103)

And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. it is they for whom there is an awful torment. (Ali Imran 105)

But look what do we have here? Muslim calling and self declare themeselve as a SUFI , SALAFI , TABLIGH, TARIKAT this and that etc.

Pertaining to holding on to the rope of Allah;Ibn Jarir, Qurtubi mention or commentor as

''By the 'rope of Allah' is meant that agreement and covenant which was drawn up between us and the Almighty Allah - the covenant of the Quran. This opinion is based on a hadith in which the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "The Book of Allah: It is the Rope of Allah that has been extended down from the heavens to the earth."

And if we have any difference in our belief or thinking we must put our EGO down and go back to the Quran and Sunnah followed by the qiyas and ijmak of the reputable Muslim scholars.

As mention in the Quran

''Oh you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If you differ in anything among yourself, refer it to Allah (Quran) and his Messenger (Hadith), if you do believe in Allah and the Last Day; that is the best, and most suitable for final determination. (Al-Nisa 59)

I would also like to take this chance to share with u a couple of videos by various Muslim scholars on the importance of the Amir(Leader) and the unity among ourselves
